This Spring Break, send your kids to the Nigra Arts Center for a week of creative fun! Our Kids' Art Programs include art projects, fun games, educational activities and more for a dynamic and well-rounded experience with something for kids with all kinds of interests and talents.

2025 Summer Kids’ Art Program Week 1: Culinary

Join us for a fun-filled culinary adventure! This program is the perfect opportunity for budding young chefs to explore their creativity in the kitchen. Throughout the week, kids will learn the basics of cooking and baking, as well as develop their own unique recipes. Our instructors will guide them through hands-on activities, teaching them essential cooking techniques and introducing them to a variety of ingredients. Your child will gain valuable culinary skills while having fun!

Your kids will love spending a week at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts learning about science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM)! With everything from art projects to musical creations to science experiments to exercise their brains, kids of all ages and interests will be sure to have a ton of fun at this program!

In this Kids' Art Program at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, children will learn about various holidays from different cultures around the world! Each day, they will enjoy art projects, games, activities, cooking exercises and more based on international year-round celebrations of all kinds.

In this environmentally friendly week at the Nigra Arts Center, kids will explore the world around us and how important it is to keep it beautiful as we learn about sustainability and all of the things we can do for our planet. With trash-to-treasure art projects and more, all kids will have a great time!

Join us for a week of inspiration and creativity at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts! This Kids' Art Program will focus on learning about art in every medium through hands-on projects and beginner-friendly lessons. This exploration of the arts will foster confidence, self-expression and a lifelong appreciation for creativity - as well as build artistic skills that will provide a strong foundation for their artistic journey!

This is an opportunity for young performers, storytellers and theater enthusiasts to spread their creative wings! All week, they will learn about various ways to express themselves creatively through different types of performing arts. Every child will have the opportunity to discover and show off their unique talents in a supportive and encouraging environment. This program is about building confidence, teaching teamwork and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts!

At the final week of the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts' Kids' Summer Art Program, it's time to get active! Every day, kids will get up, move and enjoy the sunshine through games, sports, outdoor activities and more. This program is aimed at helping kids learn the importance of living an active life and exploring the world around them.

2025 Holiday Kids Art Program
Monday, December 29 - Wednesday, December 31

After the excitement of Christmas is over, send your kids to us for a fun and creative art program! Kids will spend three exciting days doing winter-themed art projects, games, activities and more as they decompress from the holidays and get ready to head back to school. There will be a little bit of everything for your kids to enjoy!

Important Kids Art Program Information

For each program, the Nigra Arts Center offers a 20% discount for our members, a 10% discount for Lexington employees and a discount for children from the same family.
Programs are open to children ages 5-12.
Openings in the Nigra Arts Center Kids Art Programs are very limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All children must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian.
There will be no refunds or exchanges for any of the programs unless the Nigra Arts Center cancels due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment.
Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Full payment and completed Information Packet paperwork secure your child’s spot in Kids Art Programs.
Schedules are subject to change depending on instructor availability.
Most programs involve cumulative projects. Your kid will receive the best results from the program by attending all week (if applicable).
All programs will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can be dropped off up to 15 minutes early or picked up 15 minutes late free of charge. Outside of the 15-minute grace period, we charge an additional $15 per 15 minutes need to pick up or drop off. Kids can be dropped off no earlier than 7:45 a.m. and picked up no later than 5 p.m. If you are dropping your kids off early or picking them up late, please call (518) 661-9932 to let us know in advance so we can schedule staffing.
