Hair of the Dog to perform at Nigra Arts Center
The sixth concert of the season at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, featuring Hair of the Dog, will take place on Friday, August 4. The show begins at 7 p.m. at the arts center, located at 2736 State Highway 30, Gloversville.
Hair of the Dog is a high-energy Celtic rock band, originally formed as an acoustic trio in 1993. Band members include Rick Bedrosian (bass and vocals), Larry Packer (fiddle), Eric Finn (electric guitar, mandolin, violin and vocals), Brian Gibney (acoustic guitar, electric guitar and vocals) and Joe Morizio (drums) – all highly successful musicians in their own right. The band has released ten well-reviewed albums and been featured in Billboard Magazine and on high-profile compilations. They have been repeatedly named “Best Band” since the late 1990s by top newspapers and magazines in Upstate New York.
